The following proposed Rule Amendments are exposed to stakeholders’ comments. Participation is requested by way of reviewing the proposed Rule Amendments and providing comments thereon.

The proposed Rule Amendments may be viewed on The Exchange’s website through the links provided as follows:

  1. Amendments to Issuers’ Rules:

(a) Proposed Amendments to Rules Relating to Board Meetings and General Meetings of Issuers (Chapter 19)

  1. Amendments to Dealing Members’ Rules (Part XVIII):

(a) Rule 7.2 – Net Liquid Capital Requirement;

(b) Rule 7.6 – Prohibition of Manipulation of Financial Statement;

(c) Rule 11.14: Third-Party Transactions (Sales Proceeds in the Name of Third Party);

(d) Rule 11.8: (1) No Unauthorized Use of Client Funds; Segregation of Client Funds;

(e) Rule 13.1: Record of Transactions and Right of Inspection; and

(f) Rule 13.2: Cooperation in Connection with Inspections or Investigations.
