Kanye West confirms he has converted to Christianity during Washington D.C. listening party for the new album: ‘I recently got saved within this year’. The 42-year-old rapper was in Washington D.C. over the weekend, where he put in a surprise appearance at Howard University and held a listening party of his new album, ‘Jesus Is King’.
Given his ongoing Sunday Service events and his vow to move away from making secular music in favour of creating only gospel music, West fully committing to his faith by becoming a Christian convert falls in line with his recent exploits.
West has been holding his Sunday Service worship services since the beginning of this year, though he hasn’t confirmed his conversion until now.
