Lafarge Africa Plc (“the Company”) hereby notifies the Nigerian Stock Exchange, our esteemed shareholders and the general public of the resignation of Mr. Jean-Philippe Benard from the Board with effect from the 24th of January 2020, having decided to pursue his career outside LafargeHolcim Group.
Prior to Mr. Benard’s resignation, he was the Chief Procurement Officer for LafargeHolcim Group and he was appointed to the Board of the Company on the 31st of October 2018 as a Non-Executive Director until his resignation.
