The Flex 5 Hybrid and Flex 3 Sensitive razors have been named Product of the Year in Sweden and Portugal, respectively. These accolades are thanks to consumers who voted for BIC products over other top shaving brands.
The Flex 5 Hybrid was honoured in the Årets Bästa produkt 2019-2020 ranking annual survey that collects consumer responses to honour the top products in a range of categories. This year the group gathered almost 4,000 votes and named the Flex 5 Sweden’s best razor in its shaving category.
Meanwhile, the Flex 3 Sensitive took the top spot in the Portugal chapter of Product of the Year Worldwide, a global consumer survey of product innovation, following a second-place showing in 2019.
This news follows another exciting development in BIC’s shaving category: in January 2020, BIC launched the Next BIC Thing, a program that invites consumers into BIC’s creation process. Beginning in the U.S., consumers can join the BIC R&D Squad to test product prototypes, provide feedback and interact with BIC’s internal teams. The first product they will test is the first-ever AI-enabled wet razor, a device that will gather shaving data for BIC team members so they can learn to innovate shavers that will best meet today’s consumer needs.
