FUTA WASCAL Donates Palliative to Ibule Soro (Photos)

Members of Staff of the West Africa Science Service Centre in Climate Change and Adapted land use, WASCAL, Federal University of Technology, Akure FUTA on Thursday, April 21, 2020, visited the Ibule –Soro community to give out some palliatives to some families to cushion the effect of the lockdown occasioned by the Corona-virus pandemic ravaging the globe. The Director, WASCAL, FUTA, Professor Debo Adeyewa who coordinated the event said the gesture was one of goodwill to one of the communities bordering the university. Fifty families benefited from the palliatives which consisted of food items, face masks, hand sanitizers and packs of Vitamin C.

Receiving the team, the Regent Princess Moyinoluwa Falowo appreciated WASCAL for the good gesture saying they had followed a good example of the FUTA Alumni Association and the FUTA Business Development Centre which had earlier extended similar gesture at the behest of the Vice-Chancellor Professor Joseph Fuwape.
