Aura by Transcorp Hotels, a digital platform that connects people to quality accommodation, great food, and experiences to treasure – today announced the launch of its Android application.
The app makes it easier for people to choose from an array of verified homes, carefully selected restaurants, and specially curated experiences from their mobile phones and tablets running on the Android operating system.
Aura by Transcorp Hotels incorporates the same convenient features found on aura.transcorphotels.com to ensure a consistent user experience across different devices.
“We are building Africa’s biggest platform for accommodation rental, great food, and amazing experiences. Therefore, we wanted to create the best app for people to quickly access the right selection of homes, food, and experiences at the right prices,” said Ifeoma Okafor-Obi, Business Development Director at Transcorp Hotels Plc.
“We wanted to make it easier for mobile users to find accommodation at the touch of a button.”
According to Okafor-Obi, the main target audience for Aura by Transcorp Hotels is mobile-first and the best way to reach them is by ensuring they can use the app on the go, and on their preferred devices, hence the launch on Android.
She further noted that the availability of COVID-19 vaccines is making people more comfortable making holiday plans this year. However, most of the plans will be staycation based and Aura will be at the centre of these plans for discerning holidaymakers.
Mrs. Okafor-Obi said the app will also be available on Apple Store in a few weeks. Guests can search by availability and choose from a range of budget to luxury accommodation, including hotels. Android users can download the app now from Google Play.
