Samsung Has Released Galaxy A03 Entry-Level Smartphone

Samsung has  quietly announced the Galaxy A03 entry-level phone globally. The product focuses on long battery life. But this is not surprising. We mean many low-end models sport large-capacity batteries. So the new Samsung model does. It comes with a 5000mAh battery, which is truly capable of providing long endurance.

Apart from the aforementioned features, there are some others that deserve our attention. For instance, the Galaxy A03 features a 6.5-inch waterdrop full screen. The latter has a resolution of only 720P+. The product also uses a plastic back cover, which offers three colors of black, red, and blue.

In terms of hardware, the phone uses a 1.6GHz octa-core processor. Unfortunately, the model has not been announced. From the previous leaks, we learned that it should be a Unisoc chipset. It provides three storage capacities of 3+32GB, 4+64GB, and 4+128GB.

In terms of photography, the Samsung Galaxy A03 has a 5MP front camera. The rear camera includes a 48MP main sensor as well as a 2MP depth-of-field lens. It is accompanied by a flash. The primary sensor has an f/1.8 aperture; the secondary sensor has an f/2.4 aperture; the front-mounted camera comes with an f/2.2 aperture.

This phone supports Dolby sound effects. The Samsung Galaxy A03 has a unique camera housing and a fiber-like finish on the back panel. The phone’s dimensions are 164.2 x 75.9 x 9.1mm. This simply means that the Galaxy A03 has the same footprint as the Galaxy A02.

It is expected to be sold overseas in the near future. There is still no specific launch date available at the moment. But we think the phone is going to hit the market during the holiday shopping season. Colors and memory variants will vary from market to market. The price has not yet been announced.

GALAXY A03S FEATURES

By the way, the Samsung Galaxy A03 shouldn’t be confused with the Galaxy A03s. The latter was announced in the summer. Though they are different phones, many key features are identical. Say, this device comes with the same 6.5-inch TFT display offering an HD+ resolution, an octa-core chip, a 5000mAh battery, etc. But the chip inside comes our way from MediaTek. Specifically, it is the Helio P35. This is an old chipset based on the ARM Cortex-A53 cores, but for non-exigent users, it can get the job done. The device is paired with 3GB / 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64 GB of storage.
