Elon Musk, the billionaire founder of Tesla Inc., has stated that he will pay more than $ 11 billion in taxes this year.

Musk faces a hefty tax bill from the government as a result of massive bills on his Tesla stock options, which market analysts say could be the largest in US history.

To cover the taxes associated with these transactions, Musk exercised nearly 15 million options and sold millions of shares, resulting in an unusually high tax levy.

Last month, Brandspur reported that he sold about $5 billion in Tesla stock, just days after polling Twitter users about selling 10% of his stake.
