The Tecno Camon 18 has been launched in India, adding to the company’s budget smartphone portfolio.

The Chinese phone manufacturer’s new 4G-enabled phone, the Camon 18, has gone official in India. Furthermore, it is the most recent addition to the Spark series and phones priced under INR 15,000 in India. Despite its reasonable price, the Tecno Camon 18 provides adequate features and specifications.

For example, the phone has a punch-hole cutout in the screen to accommodate its 48MP selfie camera, which is also the handset’s most notable feature. Similarly, three sensors are housed inside a rectangular camera module on the back panel. For easier access, the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Apart from that, it has a massive 6.8-inch display with a full-HD+ resolution and a touch sampling rate of 120Hz. Furthermore, the device comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The sole 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model of the newly launched Tecno Camon 18 costs INR 14,999. Furthermore, Tecno Mobile will include the Buds 2 true wireless earbuds with the purchase of the Camon 18 smartphone. You will be able to select between two color schemes: Purple and Dusk Grey. Beginning from yesterday Monday,  the smartphone will be available for purchase through both online and offline retail channels.

The Camon 18 has a massive 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ (0802,460 pixels) resolution. Furthermore, the display has a hole-punch cutout and a peak brightness of 500 nits. The Camon 18 has a 48MP ultra-clear selfie camera that sits inside the centrally aligned hole-punch cutout, according to the Camon 18 microsite on the company’s official website. A MediaTek Helio G85 SoC powers the phone.
