The Board of Directors of Wema Bank Plc has announced the appointment of two independent Non-Executive Directors.

The disclosure was signed by the company’s secretary, Johnson Lebile, and filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited.

 

Dr. (Mrs.) Oluwayemisi Olorunshola and Mrs. Bolarin Okunowo have been appointed as new Independent Non-Executive Directors.

 

Mrs. Oluwayemisi Olorunshola is a supply chain professional and business associate with over 15 years of experience in multinational organizations and over 10 years as a business manager.

 

She holds a B.Sc. Education degree in education and Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom, and a Doctorate degree in Business Administration from Walden University in the United States.

 

Dr. Olorunshola is a member of the Nigerian Chartered Institute of Personnel Management and a fellow of the International Institute for African Scholars. She is a firm believer in community development, and in pursuit of this goal, she participates in a variety of civic activities, where she has made significant contributions to the growth of her community and other areas of influence.
