Lagos Talks 91.3 FM, the community-driven radio station, is currently holding a town hall meeting to mark its sixth year anniversary.

Brand Spur Nigeria reports that the town hall meeting themed ‘Politics as a Catalyst for Change’ focuses on “bridging the gap between the governed and the government.”

The digital news platform reports that the LagosTalks Town Hall meeting is ongoing at Agboyi Ketu LCDA.

Panelists for the town hall meeting include Oshinowo, the chairman of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA; Femi Saheed, member house of assembly; and Kafilat Ogbara, commissioner at Lagos state audit commission/candidate Kosofe federal constituency.

“This is an opportunity for citizens and politicians to speak about issues that are affecting the country. There will be a Q&A session where guests can ask any pressing questions they might have,” the station said in a statement.

This year’s edition of the station’s anniversary which started on Monday is expected to end on Friday.

On Tuesday, the organisers held an outdoor broadcast showcasing the Lagos Talks brand outside of the usual studio setting.

The anniversary continues today with a free workshop aimed at encouraging and giving opportunities for skill acquisition to listeners of the radio station.
