Brandcomfest, Brandcom Awards Take Centre Stage Nov. 24, 25 At D’Podium, Ikeja

The two most prestigious annual events organized by Brand Communicator, Nigeria’s leading brands and marketing publication, are set to take place this November at D’Podium Int’l Event Centre, Ikeja, Lagos.

According to the organisers, Brandcomfest, an annual conference that caters to the most contemporary and topical business and communication issues will hold at the D’Podium Ikeja, Lagos on Thursday, 24th November 2022.

The following evening, from 5 pm, the first-of-its-kind Brandcom Awards, set to honour and recognize brands and marketing communications professionals in the country will hold on Friday, November 25th at the same venue. The awards night, according to the organizers, promises to be unforgettable as outstanding individuals and brands will be rewarded for their remarkable works and excellence in the year.

Brandcomfest is an annual event designed to be the foremost thought-leadership platform for stakeholders within the brands and marketing communications value chain.

The theme of this year’s Brandcomfest is Sustainability and Brand Building in the face of Disruption. Erudite Professor of Strategic Management and Dean, Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos, Chris Ogbechie will be the Keynote Speaker at the 2022 Brandcomfest. Other Seasoned marketing communication buffs have been lined up to handle different strategic sessions for a cross-pollination of ideas towards the advancement of the business ecosystem.

Some of the sub-themes for various segments that would be handled by different panels include: Beyond Funding: Building strong Fintech Brands; Insurance Marketing: Breaking the Barriers of Acceptance and Growth; From APCON to ARCON: Implications for Brands, IMC and the Media; Politics, IMC and the 2023 Elections: Promoting Responsible Engagement.  

Speaking on the 2022 Brandcomfest, the convener of and publisher of Brand Communicator, Joshua Ajayi explained,  “the essence of organizing Brandcomfest is to serve as our own way of linking the future, in line with the vision which we have religiously kept faith with since we hit the newsstands over a decade ago. Also, the event will serve as a rallying point for practitioners, and brand owners in different sectors of the economy to chart a new course for corporate Nigeria”.

The organisers of the Brandcom Awards that will hold the following evening have equally promised that the event would be one of the biggest celebrations of the exploits and achievements of brands, agencies and notable players who are going the extra mile in making great impact in the industry. The award is also designed to be the most credible and prestigious platform recognizing, rewarding and inspiring agencies, brands and individuals in the marketing and communications industry in Nigeria.

This edition promises to be unforgettable as the stage is set to celebrate Top 20 Chief Marketing Officers in Nigeria and 35 young outstanding marketing professionals in Nigeria. The event would also be another special opportunity to  induct some industry legends into Brandcom Hall of Fame and honour  other brands, agencies, and notable individuals in the brands and marketing industry advancing beyond the edge and making impact in diverse areas.
