Ebuka and Maleka Team Up on BBTITANS
The entertainment sector is about to be hit with another blockbuster, as Nigeria and South Africa will be teaming up together on the first-ever BBTitans show.
The Big Brother franchise had announced the show just before the end of the BBNaija level-up season, which had Phyna, emerge as the winner. The show promises to be exciting from top to bottom and will bring together the youths from Africa’s great nations, Nigeria and South Africa, in one house.

BBNaija fans from both of the countries, Nigeria and South Africa will see their favorite hosts Ebuka Obi-Uchendu from BBNaija, and Lawrence Maleka from BBMzansi and this show will also see a mixture of housemates from both South Africa and Nigeria. The show, which will be aired on DStv channel 198 or GOtv channel 29 on January 15, 2023, will begin with a launch show at 7 pm and will feature prominent musical acts from both Nigeria and South Africa.

The show, whose winner will walk away with a grand prize of $100,000 cash, promises to be exciting and full of drama, and the CEO of MultiChoice Nigeria, John Ugbe shared his excitement for the upcoming show saying, “BBTitans is a special edition of the widely loved Big Brother show that will have Nigerians and South Africans in one house. We can only imagine that there will be an explosion of entertainment and intense drama, unlike anything viewers have ever seen before. Imagine Afrobeats and Amapiano, the food, and everything else we’ll see in this edition. It promises an abundance of Nigerian and South African swag, banter, romance, and everything else. We believe this will be the most exciting Big Brother the planet has ever seen, and we are excited for the show to begin.”

Viewers on DStv and GOtv can participate in the show, by voting to keep their favorite housemate in the house, through their MyDStv and MyGOtv apps, and the number of votes given to each viewer is determined by their subscription package in each voting cycle. BBTitans winner will be decided by viewers’ votes across Africa after the 12-week show, while fans of the Bigr Brother show in the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, and 45 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa can also follow the show live on the Showmax streaming platform.
