The Nigerian Idol season eight auditions are open from Saturday, January 14th, and will close on Saturday, January 28th, 2023, and all interested contestants from ages 16-28 are to upload a 30 seconds video of them singing any song of their choice to www.africamagic.tv.
Nigerian Idol which has brought out amazing talent such as Progress Chukwuyem, winner of Nigerian Idol season seven is one committed to recognizing amazing talents in Nigeria. As with past seasons of the music talent competition, we remain committed to promoting and giving young, promising Nigerian musicians a platform to shine and actualize their dreams. Season eight promises to be bigger and more entertaining than other seasons. Last year, after a fierce battle between Progress and Zadok, the former emerged as the winner, and we are looking for more talents who will pack the heat the way our contestants in season seven did. 12 brilliant contestants were featured on the live show, the previous season of the Nigerian Idol out of over 40,000 entries and this platform is open for another set of 12 amazing talents to contest for the grand prize.
This year’s Nigerian Idol winner will win N30 million in cash prize as well as other exciting rewards.
