Early life
Born on May 27, 1991, in Port Harcourt Rivers State, Mark Angel initially intended to study medicine at Obafemi Awolowo university but left due to family reasons. He would eventually study cinematography in India before returning to Nigeria to hone his skills.
However, he was unable to find a good paying job in the Nigerian film industry and decided to become an independent filmmaker. He launched his production company Mechanic Pictures, aimed at creating photos and videos for skits and sharing them through YouTube.
