BrandSpur Nigeria reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has concluded the collation of the 2023 presidential election results.
This is coming four days after what many described as historic presidential and National Assembly polls, results have come in from several parts of the country.
The presidential election was held across the country on the 25th of February, 2023, while voting stretched to the next day in some states due to one reason or the other.
INEC on Sunday commenced the collation of results from states, which end on Tuesday night, after hours of declaration.
The declaration of results ended with results from Imo State after which the INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu called for a break.
Yakubu while announcing the break said the electoral officials would fill out some forms before the session continues.
The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu is in the lead followed by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, then Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP).
