The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students Southwest (NANS Zone D) on Wednesday congratulated Senator Ademola Adeleke as the Supreme Court of Nigeria authenticates his election as the Governor of Osun State.

BrandSpur Nigeria reports that the association, in a statement by NANS Coordinator, Comrade Adejuwon Emmanuel Olatunji and Public Relations Officer (PRO), Awoyinfa Opeoluwa, said, “The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students Southwest (NANS Zone D) congratulate His Excellency, Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke as the Supreme Court of Nigeria authenticate his election as the Governor of Osun State. It is indeed a landscape victory.

“HE Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke who was a governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) contested at the Osun State 2022 Gubernatorial Election on the 16th of July, 2022 and after vigorous collation of votes by the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC), polled a total votes of 403,371, haven earned the required number of votes by the constitution, and was declared the winner, President elect by the INEC.

“Osun citizens has found HE Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke worthy to be the next Democratic Executive Governor of Osun State based on his exemplary style of leadership, his antecedents as a Senator representing Osun West (2017-2019). He has raised so many leaders and he deserves to be trusted with the leadership mantle of the State at a time when hardship is vested upon citizens of the State.

“On behalf of the over 50.1 million Nigerian Students in Southwest Nigeria, We extend to HE Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke our warmest congratulations on the supreme court’s verdict as the legitimate elected Governor of Osun State.
