The energy at the Experiential Marketers Association of Nigeria (EXMAN) Brand Experience Summit which began yesterday at the Balmoral Centre, Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos, intensified on day 2 as renowned speakers and industry experts continued to unlock new dimensions to experiential marketing in Nigeria.

The day began with Prof. Uchenna Uzo from the Lagos Business School taking the stage to explore the topic “Unlocking the value of experiential marketing in Nigeria.” Prof. Uzo’s thought-provoking session set the stage for an explosive and interactive panel discussion. Moderated by Prof. Uzo himself, the panel featured Victor Afolabi, Founder and CEO of Hazon Holdings; Kehinde Salami, CEO of Ideas House; and Emmanuel Adediran, Business Unit Director for MediaReach OMD. These industry leaders shared their expertise, providing participants with diverse perspectives and practical advice.

Olabanji Akindunni from Logitech, a company with an exhibition stand at the summit, followed with a presentation on technology and their wide range of accessories that can enhance participants’ work. The session shed light on the latest tools and innovations that can elevate experiential marketing strategies.

The captivating Femi Odugbemi, a giant in the Nigerian film industry, took the audience on a journey through the art of “Creating Experiences through Visual Storytelling.” With his wealth of experience, Odugbemi shared invaluable insights on leveraging storytelling techniques to create impactful and memorable brand experiences.

Dotun Babatunde, an industry professional, took the stage to discuss “Amplifying Live Experiences through Digital.” In an era where digital platforms play a crucial role in brand activations, Babatunde provided attendees with strategies to amplify their live experiences and engage wider audiences through digital channels.

Later in the day, Victor Aghahowa, Head of Productions at Multichoice Nigeria, is set to share insights on “The Power of Live Experiences – The BBN Story.” This highly anticipated segment will feature a panel session with members of the Big Brother Naija housemates, offering a unique perspective on the impact of live experiences in the entertainment industry.

Following Aghahowa’s session, Franklyn Ozekhome, CEO of Identiture Africa, will deliver a presentation on “Insights on Pop Culture.” Ozekhome’s session will delve into the influence of pop culture on brand experiences and provide participants with strategies to leverage this powerful phenomenon.

The summit will continue with a plenary session on “Intellectual Properties (How Agencies can protect their IP),” featuring Olaitan Adedeji, Director at PwC, as a speaker. Adedeji’s expertise in intellectual property will offer agencies valuable guidance on safeguarding their creative assets.

Other notable presentations to look forward to include Jimi Daodu, founder of Vault Hill, speaking on “Activating Brands in the Metaverse,” and legendary music star Dare Art Alade and Ayo Animashaun discussing “Sustaining Experiential Platforms.”
