The International Students’ Day is an international observance of the student community, held globally on November 17 as a nonpolitical celebration of the multiculturalism of students.
In a statement sent to this news medium by Comrade Alimi Lekan Idris, the Chairman, NANS JCC Lagos, the students’ union reaffirmed commitment to promoting quality education, reflects on the challenges students face worldwide.
“This day serves as a global acknowledgment of the crucial role that students play in shaping the future. As we celebrate the diversity of cultures, ideas, and aspirations within the student community, let us also reflect on the challenges that students face worldwide.
“Our educational journey is a shared experience that transcends borders, and it is essential that we unite to address common issues affecting students globally. Education is the cornerstone of progress, and as the leaders of tomorrow, students bear the responsibility of fostering positive change in our society.
