Bright Enabulele, the creator of Oduwacoin, Africa’s first native cryptocurrency, has advised the Nigerian government to take advantage of the country’s growing youth population.

Revealing that Nigeria has the largest population of youth in the world, Enabulele noted that yet the country has a high level of unemployment, poverty, and insecurity of food, lives, and property.

According to the renowned pan-Africanist, the overall quality of life for Nigerians is of concern.
“Improving the overall quality of life for Nigerians is imperative,” Enabulele maintained as he emphasised on the need for strategic interventions.

“Education, entrepreneurship, and job creation are linchpins to unlocking Nigeria’s latent potential,” he added.

Enabulele underscored the significance of robust investments in education, stressing the necessity to equip Nigerian youth with STEM skills and nurture an entrepreneurial mindset through comprehensive training initiatives.

“Government-led programmes facilitating mentorship, funding, and resources for young entrepreneurs are pivotal,” insisted Bright.
He, therefore, championed initiatives fostering an ecosystem of innovation and enterprise, essential for propelling Nigeria forward.

“Facilitating private sector growth and streamlining bureaucratic processes are critical,” Enabulele maintained.

Stressing the importance of actively engaging Nigeria’s youth, Enabulele said it’s important for the Nigerian government to recognise their untapped potential to drive the nation’s progress. “The more we involve our youth, the greater their chance to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s advancement,” he emphasised.

Enabulele highlighted the role of meaningful engagement in diverting youth from falling into social vices that currently pose a significant challenge to the nation.

He further expressed belief that channeling the energy, creativity, and talents of Nigeria’s youth towards constructive avenues would not only enrich the country but also deter the proliferation of social vices.
