Zenith Bank Plc has been awarded the “Best Bank for Digital Solutions in Nigeria” in the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2023.
The award, according to Euromoney, is in appreciation of the outstanding and trail-blazing achievements of the bank in their ability to deliver cutting-edge digital financial solutions in Nigeria.
Appreciating Euromoney for the award and recognition, the Group Managing Director/CEO of Zenith Bank Plc, Dr. Ebenezer Onyeagwu, expressed their delight in being recognised as the Best Bank for Digital Solutions in Nigeria, stating that he is glad the efforts and hard work of the financial institution did not go unnoticed.
He noted that the award was an attestation to the Bank’s trailblazing initiatives in integrating advanced technology within Nigeria’s financial services sector, adding that the Bank’s commitment to ensuring that the horizons of digital financial services are expanded remains unwavering.

Onyeagwu maintained that the Bank will persist in its efforts to innovate and deliver enhanced value to customers and stakeholders alike.
Dedicating the award to the Founder and Chairman of Zenith Bank Plc, Jim Ovia, CFR, he commended him for his visionary approach, which led to integrating technology into banking and also establishing an exemplary model for service delivery at a time when the potential of technology in banking was yet to be fully realised in Nigeria.
Onyeagwu further noted that technology has turned out to be the cornerstone of the financial services sector, adding that it was high time everyone subscribed to it as it has come to stay.
According to him, this will make the work of financial institutions in the country easier and more efficient.
