
The management of Stanbic IBTC, recognise the importance and impact of education in the life of every Nigerian youth. The goal is that through various initiatives like the Youth Leadership Series (YLS), Higher Institution Football League (HIFL), Together4ALimb, Digital Skill Empowerment Programme (DiSEP), Adopt-A-School, and so on, we have been supporting the dreams and aspirations of Nigerian youths, and this scholarship initiative is a continuation of that goal, they disclosed.
Details:
A scholarship fund worth N80M to support the dreams and aspirations of 200 Nigerian youths over a duration of four academic years.
Eligible Applicants:
Students who took part in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and were accepted into any state or federal institution in Nigeria are eligible for the scholarship scheme, which aims to promote academic excellence and hard work among Nigerian undergraduates.
According to Dr. Demola Sogunle, CEO of Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC, the company values education and its positive effects on the lives of young Nigerians. In his opinion, “Education empowers and encourages the youth to prepare for the future while also confronting challenges. Education is a panacea for growth and enduring development of any nation or organisation.”
How to Apply:
The following documents are required to be sent to the universityscholarship@stanbicibtc.com mailbox after filling the application form for the 2023/2024 Stanbic IBTC University Scholarship:
- Recent Passport Photograph
- Valid ID Card- NIN slip, voter’s card, birth certificate or international passport
- 2023 UTME Result with a minimum score of 250
- Minimum of 5 credits (including Mathematics and English Language) in the O’Level ( WAEC, NECO or GCE) with a valid Statement of Result or Certificate
- JAMB or University Admission Letter
