How To Participate In The Ecobank Fintech Challenge

Ecobank, the Pan Africa Bank has disclosed details of the Fintech challenge.

All entrepreneurs with creative solutions that meet the demands of the African population and its diaspora are welcome to apply for the Ecobank Fintech Challenge. It was made with two goals in mind:

– In each of Ecobank’s 35 African markets, find and assist Fintech companies who are prepared to grow through resources, capital, alliances, etc.
– To enhance Africa’s financial integration and economic development, take use of these pan-African Fintech success stories and the answers they provide.

The Challenge in numbers

– 5,500+ participants from 64 countries in the 6 years of the Challenge
– 60 Fintech start-ups enrolled in the Ecobank Fintech Fellowship
– 10M customers across 19 countries served by Fintech Fellows
– 15 partnerships that are live or under integration
– $9M raised by Fellows till date

Service provider partnerships: Opportunities to become a country-level partner in Ecobank’s ecosystem, as well as support for capacity building and business acceleration.

Access to our pan-African banking Sandbox: Assistance from a committed group to test Ecobank’s API and facilitate improved Fintech product integration in the pan-African market.

Well-established partner network: Through the Ecobank Fintech Fellowship, connect with potential investors, mentors, and global and African fintech accelerators with ease and cultivate relationships.

Competition cash prizes:
$50,000 no-strings attached cash award support to the winning company along with extra cash rewards to the top three winners.
