Nick Imudia, the former CEO of Konga, a major Nigerian e-commerce company, is said to have committed himself.
On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, in the evening, Imudia was reported to have committed the deed by jumping from the balcony of his flat in the Lekki neighbourhood of Lagos State.
The report as disclosed to BrandSpur shows that the businessman called his brother in the United States before he passed away, giving him instructions on how to divide his money and assuring his small daughter that he would always be with her.
Imudia, a native of Delta State’s Ika South Local Government Area, was previously betrothed to the mother of his young daughter. The irreconcilable conflicts caused the marriage to end.
Friends, family, and associates of Imudia are still in disbelief over why he would take his own life, according to a post on ‘X’ an online social media platform.
On Thursday, our correspondent received confirmation of the case from Benjamin Hundeyin, the Public Relations Officer of the State Police. He revealed, “Yes, it is true. He committed the act on June 27th.”
