Tim Siloma (tax and regulatory services), Taiwo Oyaniran (assurance), and Marilyn Obaisa-Osula (consulting and risk services) have all been admitted as new partners by PwC Nigeria.

The effective date of their appointment was July 1, 2024, according to a PwC Nigeria’s statement.

As part of PwC Africa’s admission of 15 new partners, 40% of whom are women, it was mentioned that this announcement is part of the firm’s progress towards reaching its goals for gender representation in leadership.

The eyepiece of the local news brand shows that Sam Abu, the Country Senior Partner, PwC Nigeria, in his congrstulatory message said, “Our new partners bring deep expertise and experience in strategic areas that are vital to contributing to Nigeria’s continued growth. As leaders, they will help our clients navigate challenges and disruptions, building resilience to thrive in an age of continuous reinvention.

“We celebrate their achievements in reaching this career milestone. Together, we’ll continue to power forward to our new frontier, delivering sustained outcomes for our clients and communities,” he added.

Leading the company’s efforts to assist clients in making the transition to green, circular, and blue economies throughout West Africa will be Obaisa-Osula in her role as Head of ESG | Sustainability and Climate Change. She has more than 15 years of expertise in market entry, sustainability, and business development.

Furthering, she graduated with a degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Benin, a diploma in Business Sustainability and Sustainable Finance from the University of Cambridge, UK, and a master’s degree in Public and Development Management from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa.

With a wealth of post-qualification experience, Oyaniran is an accomplished chartered accountant. He oversees the provision of agricultural services by PwC Nigeria, as well as services to foreign donor organisations and customers in the consumer and industrial goods and services sectors.

He has advanced to the position of Lead Ethics Officer for PwC Nigeria and PwC Africa’s West Market Area. In his role as a partner, Oyaniran will mentor new professionals while concentrating on growing the company’s market share in the areas of agribusiness, consumer and industrial products & services, and international donor agencies.

Following that, Siloma is a seasoned tax expert who has worked at PwC for more than 15 years, specialised in tax reporting and strategy. Having worked in the UK, Kenya, and Nigeria over his eleven years of overseas expertise, he made a substantial contribution to the firm’s tax compliance practice.

Tim improves tax systems for revenue authorities by utilising sustainable solutions in people, processes, and technology, according to the company. Tim is a vital member of PwC’s Tax Administration Consulting team.

However, he graduated from Strathmore Business School with a CPA degree and the University of Nairobi with an LLB. Tim is an Associate Member of CITN and ICAN, a CPA-K, and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
