A new application performance management system called Instana has been introduced by technology company IBM and BluDive Technologies to revolutionise the Nigerian IT sector.
This action, according to a statement, “reaffirms its commitment to support and empower businesses to enhance their IT operations,” particularly in light of the rapidly changing technological landscape.
Abdul-Azeez Musa, the CEO of BluDive Technologies, stated during the unveiling in Lagos that Instana was designed to tackle the typical difficulties associated with keeping an eye on and observing IT environments.
To prevent service interruptions like ATM outages or unsuccessful transfers, he highlighted that the growing complexity of IT calls for the use of solutions like Instana to guarantee critical systems operate at peak efficiency.
With the help of Instana’s most recent technologies, Musa observed that problems that once required days to solve could now be identified and resolved in a matter of minutes.
Continuing, he emphasised the tool’s cost-effectiveness in comparison to other available options, adding that it might ultimately improve customer happiness by optimising processes and applications.
Musa claims that Instana is aimed at medium-sized and larger businesses, including banks, finance institutions, and insurance companies. He highlighted its effectiveness, cost-saving advantages, and brand protection capabilities, calling it a game-changer for businesses with significant IT investments.
The Telecom and IT news holds that to attract more investors and foster industry growth, the CEO of BluDive Technologies also urged the federal government to establish a business-friendly climate by resolving issues with infrastructure, security, and electrical supply.
He emphasised Instana’s capacity to offer performance dependability and real-time insights, combining sophisticated AI algorithms with data sources including call data, topology, events, and metrics to produce profound insights.
IBM Technical Specialist Mohamed Sherif gave a presentation demonstrating how Instana improves IT operations by cutting down on the time spent identifying and fixing problems.
The automatic discovery and mapping of all services, apps, and infrastructure by Instana, which provides thorough visibility throughout the whole IT stack, was highlighted by the speaker.
Sherif claims that by providing such fine detail, IT teams can quickly detect and resolve problems, guaranteeing optimal performance all the time.
He emphasised the AI-powered capabilities of Instana, which are intended to comprehend the surroundings and identify departures from the norm while offering useful information for preventative actions.
He also added that simulated situations were used to show off Instana’s smooth interface with various technologies and older platforms, highlighting both its robustness and versatility
