
The Naira remained stable in the parallel market at N1,535 per dollar.
However, the Naira fell to N1,532.58 per dollar in the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market, or NAFEM.
According to FMDQ data, the indicative exchange rate for NAFEM increased to N1,532.58 per dollar from N1,523.85 per dollar on Monday, representing a N8.73 depreciation in the naira.
The market’s dollar volume (turnover) increased by 41 percent to $188.19 million, up from $133.46 million on Monday.
As a result, the difference between parallel market and NAFEM rates has narrowed to N2.42 per dollar, down from N11.15 on Monday.
