Guinness Nigeria Onboards Vivien Shobo New Independent Non-executive Director For Her Vast Business Prowess

A Guinness statement reveals that Mrs. Vivien Shobo has been named an Independent Non-executive Director by Guinness Nigeria Plc, which will be effective September 1, 2024.

According to the company, Shobo will be adding a plethora of experience and knowledge to the board.

She was previously the chief executive officer of Agusto & Co., the premier pan-African credit rating agency and a top supplier of economic and industry research in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa, from September 2003 to December 2019. She is currently the chief executive officer of FVS Advisory Partners.

Agusto & Co. strengthened its position as a top pan-African credit rating agency and expanded its line of business and revenue stream under her direction as BrandSpur business and economy news reveal.

Shobo is a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Accountants and a graduate of Manchester Business School in the United Kingdom with an MBA in finance.

Through management and leadership programs at schools like Lagos Business School, Wharton Business School, and Harvard Business School, she has further refined her skills.

The brewer, however, claims that Shobo is a well-regarded financial expert with a solid track record of accomplishments.
