As Microsoft releases intriguing enhancements to the platform, Skype users may now enjoy an ad-free experience.

To provide users with a more seamless and pleasurable experience, all advertising has been removed from Skype channels and the entire site.

Irene Namuganyi, Product Manager for Skype, notes that this is a reaction to user feedback and that the goal is to make the environment more distraction-free and user-friendly.

Continuing, the upgrade includes several new features in addition to the elimination of advertisements. New picture creation capabilities are now available for Skype users on Windows and macOS. With the help of these technologies, users can view AI-generated graphics in chat windows in more ways. The update also includes bug patches, like as those pertaining to transferring photographs and videos over 5G, and improved design components that better match the aesthetics of macOS.
