Sterling Bank Bags Multiple Awards At The DBN Service Ambassadors Award Ceremony

At the fourth Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN), Service Ambassadors Award Ceremony and Dinner, which was recently held in Lagos, Sterling Bank Limited emerged as the multi-award winner.

In three categories, as reported by BrandSpur banking and finance news, the bank won:

  • DMB with the Highest Impact on Youth;
  • DMB with the Highest Impact on Women MSMEs; and
  • The DBN Platinum Service Award, according to a statement released by the bank on Wednesday.

The top accolade of the night was the DBN Platinum Service Award, which came with an N5 million grant for technical assistance.

By recognising and supporting financial institutions that have achieved great progress in providing capital to MSMEs, the DBN Service Ambassadors Award Ceremony promotes economic diversification and job creation.

Speaking on the accomplishment, Edward Ogunmekan, Divisional Head of Retail & Consumer Banking at Sterling Bank, stated: “These awards are a testament to Sterling Bank’s unwavering commitment to empowering Nigerian entrepreneurs, particularly youth and women.
