“The Price is Right Nigeria” To Hit National Television Stations In September, Prices Available For Viewers

On September 1st, Nigerian television stations will begin showing “The Price is Right Nigeria” (TPIR). Nigerian viewers and participants in the game show highlight sponsored by Airtel’s Smartcash have the chance to win incredible prizes.

BrandSpur Nigeria news today reports that at the recent TPIR premiere at the Royal Box Event Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos, the show’s organisers revealed that it would air on Africa Magic Showcase on Sundays at 6 p.m. and Mondays at 5:30 p.m., and on Africa Magic Family on Sundays at 8:30 p.m. and Fridays at 3:30 p.m.

Additional stations include Wazobia Max TV Sundays 9 pm–10 pm and repeats on Thursdays 8 pm–9 pm; Wap TV Mondays 8 pm–9 pm and repeats on Wednesdays 8 pm–9 pm; AIT Wednesdays 9 pm–10 pm; and TVC Sundays 8 pm–9 pm and repeats on Wednesdays 8 pm–9 pm.

The Price Is Right Nigeria is a game show on television where participants compete to win cash and prizes by estimating the prices of products. Every episode of the venerable American version of The Price Is Right today draws well over 5.4 million viewers.

Olatunbosun David Olaegbe, the Executive Producer of “The Price is Right,” praised sponsors SmartCash by Airtel and other companies for their support of the TV show and commitment to helping Nigerians during his remarks at the premiere.

He also disclosed that the cast and crew are all Nigerian, and the show is proudly produced in Nigeria: “The show is proudly Nigeria, for every our cast, crew, and team they are 100% Nigeria. I thank every member of the team. Though we have been on this for quite a while, I am happy we made it.”

According to Kelechi Amogu, Head of Brand Communications at Smartcash by Airtel, the company collaborated with the event organisers to make Nigerians happy.

The show’s host, Mannie Essien, promised that winners would get incredible, transformative gifts; he stated: “TPIR is the only TV show I know that any brand can have proper representation- irrespective of how high or low the brand is.”
