30 United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc clients received rewards for their loyalty to the company.
In the August Legacy Promo, 30 customers shared more than N17 million, as part of the ongoing celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Bank. After an open drawing held over the weekend at the bank’s headquarters, the winners were declared.
BrandSpur banking and finance news reports that to ensure fairness and adherence to regulations, National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) representatives were asked to supervise the proceedings.
Joshua Izenobor, Chigozie Victor Abel, Cornelius Peter Nwankwo, Joy Esele Asibor, Mohammed Abubakar, Marachi Jenifer Kevin, Chidinma J. Okoronkwo, Saidu Ahmadu, Philomena Ezekiel, and Peace Ogechi Idoko were the ten fortunate bumper account holders in the top tier who grinned as they took home their N1 million apiece.
Continuing, ten more clients in the second category received N500,000 each as rewards. Deborah Ijeoma Simon, Yohanna Cyrus, Aishatu Aliyu, Djachi Ben-Ikezam, Tibebi Glory Esiteh, Emmanuel C. Udekwe, Ozima Friday Asiku, Elizabeth Warekoromor, and Beauty Danasabe are the recipients.
Additionally, ten account holders were fortunate enough to get N250,000 apiece. Olusegun Oke, Salisu Adamu, Anyiwe Stephen Ifeanyi, Chidozie Nwachukwu, Gloria Abimaje, Oluwakemi Olushola Olayande, Adamu Hajara Adamu, and Ruth Adugba are among them.
In addition to congratulating the winners, Shamsideen Fashola, Group Head of Retail & Digital Banking at UBA, urged others to save for a chance to win in the upcoming edition. The bank plans to reward 75 winners in each of the three categories, and 195 more customers will be chosen in the upcoming months.
The Retail and Digital Banking Group Head had this to say: “This is just the beginning of our legacy promo draw, as there are still many more prizes to be won in subsequent monthly draws.
“These draws are purely transparent, and the next millionaire could just be you. We encourage our loyal customers to follow the stated guidelines to win, and they could just be the next millionaire,” Fashola added.
Alero Ladipo, Group Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at UBA, noted that the bank is holding the draw to make sure that its clients have a sense of belonging rather than for financial gain.
According to Ladipo: “This initiative is part of UBA’s ongoing efforts to appreciate its customers and encourage a savings culture among our account holders. The UBA Legacy Promo is part of our CSR initiative to give back to society.”
