One of Choice International Group’s subsidiaries, Lontor Hi-Tech Development Company, has implemented a renewable energy system that will help reduce electricity costs in the face of the nation’s rising energy costs.
Despite being solar-powered, the Residential Energy Storage System (RESS) can reduce energy expenses by up to 80%.
The RESS will supply consistent electricity at N40 per unit, whereas Nigerians, who reportedly enjoy about 20 hours of electricity per day, currently pay about N225 Kilowatt Per Hour (KW/h).
