The top corporate mobility startup in Africa, Treepz, has hit five! The startup has clearly gained traction in the African mobility sector by offering innovative solutions to the region’s most pressing transportation problems.
By offering transportation solutions for more than 50,000 employees on a monthly basis, Treepz has continued to grow its service portfolio through partnerships with industry leaders such as KingMakers, the owners of Betkings, and Parallex Bank.
Beyond this incredible accomplishment, the corporate mobility startup created history by being the first in Africa to successfully execute a cross-border rental trip between two African nations.
Two immaculate coaster buses and three Toyota Hiace buses made up the fleet for this historic trip, which spanned almost 1400 kilometers.
Between August 7, 2024, and August 11, 2024, 96 passengers were transported from Lagos, Nigeria, to Cotonou, Benin Republic, and back.
Treepz COO and cofounder Johnny Enagwolor commented on the company’s reaching a 5-year milestone, saying the anniversary is merely a celebration of the journey.
Treepz plans to release a highly improved, all-in-one version of its mobility application for corporate companies and individual users throughout the continent in light of these milestones.
The updated app is slated to launch in Lagos, Nigeria on October 1, 2024, with the goal of addressing the actual transportation issues that its wide range of users encounter.
Through the integration of Treepz’s primary services, including Business Treepz and Rental Treepz, onto a unified, user-friendly platform, the application provides a transportation experience that is more streamlined, dependable, and efficient.
Speaking about the app, Treepz CEO & Founder Onyeka Akumah said that it takes into account the unique transportation requirements of various corporate organizations as well as individual users.
