Publicis Groupe Finalizes Deal To Acquire Mars United Commerce

A deal has been reached for Publicis Groupe to acquire Mars United Commerce, one of the biggest independent agencies with a focus on retail media.

The CEO of the company, Arthur Sadoun, said in a statement shared on social media and accessed by BrandSpur digital news platform on Thursday that the acquisition of Mars United Commerce will assist brands with all facets of retail media, including planning, purchasing advertisements, and monitoring campaign sales.

More than 100 companies, mostly brands that have deals with Amazon, Walmart, and Target, are served by Mars United Commerce. The holding company’s commerce services will expand thanks to “proprietary technology and solutions” from Mars United Commerce.

According to Sadoun: “Their innovative spirit and proprietary platforms will further connect and complement our existing capabilities to deliver industry-leading, end-to-end commerce solutions for our clients, both online and offline.”

The acquisition of Mars United, with more than 1,000 workers spread across 14 worldwide hubs, is anticipated to provide significant experience in shopper analytics, retail consulting, and commerce media, all of which will be a perfect fit with Publicis’ goals for the digital and retail media markets.

The CEO of Mars United, Rob Rivenburgh, commented on the development and said that the company’s goal of becoming the world’s top commerce marketing company will be accelerated by joining Publicis Groupe.
