
Muyiwa Aleshinloye has been appointed as the Head of Publicis Media, CWAR by Publicis Groupe, which signifies a major leadership transition in the organization’s media sector.
In his new position, Muyiwa will manage multi-million dollar budgets in 22 countries, including Nigeria, Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, and other important markets, while supervising Publicis Media, Starcom, and Zenith activities throughout Central and West Africa.
He will be leading a group of more than 600 million people, BrandSpur Nigeria news today reports.
With more than 12 years of expertise in marketing and business, Muyiwa has shaped well-known international companies like Nestlé, Samsung, Pepsi, VISA, and the British Council. He joined Publicis Groupe in May 2022 and has been instrumental in consolidating and growing the company’s leadership in both the Francophone and Anglophone markets as Director of Digital and Media for Central and West Africa (CWAR). His emphasis on brand management, digital integration, and strategy has propelled the company’s expansion throughout the area.
Muyiwa had several illustrious jobs before joining Publicis, such as Head of Marketing at Wakanow, where he oversaw performance plans and marketing communications for all of West Africa.
In addition, he held the positions of Head of Digital at Starcom Media Perspectives and Group Head of Digital at Insight Redefini. In these roles, he used new media technologies and data insights to create memorable, human-centered brand experiences. Aleshinloye received his M.Sc. from the University of Lagos and his B.Sc. from the University of Ilorin. He studied planning and strategy at BSchool NG.
Continuing, he holds the position of President of DigiClan Africa, which is the biggest African community for digital marketing experts, with more than 2,000 members from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and the United Kingdom.
Building on his background and enthusiasm for digital marketing and strategic leadership, Muyiwa is anticipated to continue leading innovation and expansion in Publicis West Africa’s media environment in his new position.
