Nigerians can now utilize laptops and tablets manufactured in Nigeria thanks to the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) and Imose Technologies Ltd, an Indigenous Nigerian company.
The NASENI brand is used to manufacture 10.5-inch tablets and 14-inch laptops. This action is in line with the agency’s goals of promoting local content and Indigenous industrialization, as well as job creation and economic revitalization, BrandSpur national news brand reports.
Students, professionals, and anybody else in need of a dependable laptop or tablet on the go will find the NASENI Zedon X-Pro laptop appealing due to its Core i5 processor and 14-inch screen, which combine power, mobility, and usefulness. Similar to this, the 10.5-inch tablet is a great option for a variety of use cases, including document editing, drawing, streaming videos, and gaming, because it balances mobility with functionality.
NASENI’s executive vice chairman and CEO, Khalil Suleiman Halilu, stated that the collaboration is: “A strategic move which aligns with the Agency’s 3Cs principles of Collaboration, Creation, and Commercialization to work with like minds. This is why we are working with Imose Technologies to bridge the technological gap by reducing importation bills.
“We are transforming the Agency by making it a central player in Nigeria’s technology revolution by adopting, adapting, and domesticating cutting-edge technologies. At NASENI, we are building a national brand that, going forward, every household in Nigeria will have one NASENI product or the other,” NASENI’s CEO added.
Additionally, Osayi Izedonmwen, Chairman of Imose Technologies, stated: “For ten years, we have had a relentless focus on solving uniquely Nigerian problems by championing the local manufacturing of mobile and computer devices to improve lives and transform local institutions.
“We are proud that NASENI has chosen to partner with us for the domestic production of laptops to bridge the digital divide and improve access to technology for education and work,” he added.
It is anticipated that NASENI laptops will be available for purchase by government ministries, departments, agencies, public institutions, private organisations, and consumers. The NASENI and Imose Technologies brands have comparable ideals and ideas around innovation and nationalism.
