Mark Gurman of Bloomberg claims that Apple is getting ready to unveil a new smart home hub. The iPhone manufacturer may unveil a tablet that mounts to your wall, manages smart home appliances, makes video calls, and, of course, has Apple Intelligence as early as March 2025.

According to reports reaching BrandSpur news brand, the gadget has a 6-inch touchscreen, but it is anticipated that similar to a HomePod, it will be controlled by voice using Siri, Apple Intelligence, or an upcoming system called “App Intents,” which enables AI to control apps. It will have standard Apple apps like Safari, Apple Music, Notes, and Calendar, but it is said to run on a new operating system with sensors to determine a person’s proximity.

Expect Apple’s “command center for the home” to cost between $100 and $250, as it appears to be positioned as a competitor to Google’s Nest Hub and Amazon’s Echo Hub. But Apple is also developing an iPad with a robotic arm that follows you around the room; this device could cost more than $1000.
