DHL Cargo Plane Crashes In Lithuanian, Eats A Crew Member

One person was killed when a DHL cargo plane carrying goods from Germany to Lithuania crashed early on Monday close to Vilnius’s airport, according to firefighters. Ausra Rutkauskien, a DHL representative, attested to the plane’s ownership.

After a cargo jet crashed on November 25, 2024, close to Vilnius International Airport, Lithuanian rescuers are working beside the debris.

The Chief of the Emergency Services and Firefighting Unit, Renatas Pozela, stated that one of the four crew members perished, adding that: “The plane was due to land at Vilnius airport and crashed a few kilometres away.”
