By collaborating with the Nigerian Craftsmen & Technicians Conference (NATCO) to support craftsmen in Ibadan, Seaman’s Schnapps, Nigeria’s renowned No. 1 Prayer Drink, has strengthened its tradition of calling out blessings.
The program gave a chosen group of craftsmen the necessary equipment to improve their crafts and secure success, demonstrating the brand’s strong dedication to upholding communities and advancing development. This month’s three-day empowerment event was centered on providing essential instruments like sewing machines, wheelbarrows, head pans, and shovels to craftsmen from a variety of industries, including bricklaying, auto repair, and tailoring.
After a rigorous selection procedure made possible by NATCO, these products were given to worthy people.
Nnenna Uche-Onyenacho, Senior Brand Manager for Seaman’s Schnapps, spoke during the occasion, saying: “Seaman’s Schnapps is a brand rooted in tradition and blessings. This initiative ensures they receive both spiritual and material support to achieve their dreams.”
Mr. Adebisi Adeniyi, the Oyo State Commissioner for Trade and Industry, was there to award the beneficiaries with their tools. He praised Seaman’s Schnapps and Grand Oak Limited, the parent company, for their significant community service.
Continuing, he had this to say: “This initiative is a shining example of how corporate social responsibility should be done. By providing artisans with the tools they need to succeed, Seaman’s Schnapps has demonstrated true leadership and care for the Nigerian people.”
The recipients conveyed their sincere appreciation for the assistance. Auto mechanic, Agboola Malik revealed: “These tools are a blessing. Now, I can take on bigger jobs and offer better services. This program has given me a fresh start.”
According to a tailor, Orisadare Damilola: “The sewing machine I received is more than just a tool; it’s an opportunity to grow my business and even consider training others. I’m deeply grateful to Seaman’s Schnapps for this life-changing gesture.”
Fairness and impact were guaranteed by the program’s selection procedure. After a thorough screening process, NATCO sector leaders acted as guarantors to confirm the beneficiaries’ accounts and guarantee the tools ended up in the correct hands.
