In January 2025, Arsenal will host Manchester United in the FA Cup third round, pitting the two most successful teams against one another.

The holders, Manchester United, won it for the thirteenth time last season, while Arsenal won the final trophy of their record fourteen in 2020. On January 11–12, 2025, the match will take place in London’s Emirates Stadium. Salford, owned by United’s “Class of 92,” which includes David Beckham, the Neville brothers, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, and Nicky Butt, is in fourth place and will be hosted by Manchester City, the 2023 champions and May runners-up.

Accrington Stanley is another League Two team that plays at Liverpool. Newcastle takes on League Two underdogs Bromley, while Chelsea takes on Morecambe, the bottom team in the fourth league. Tottenham got Tamworth, one of the two remaining non-league teams in the league. Second-tier Millwall will host Redbridge and Dagenham, two other National League teams.

Twenty lower-league and non-league teams that triumphed in the previous round are joined by 44 Premier League and Championship clubs in the third round of the competition. All games are scheduled for January 9–13, 2025.
