As part of a significant overhaul of its plans, Sky has introduced a new TV package. The service provider recently unveiled its Essential TV package, which costs £15 a month and includes Netflix, Discovery+, and complete access to over 100 channels, including Sky Atlantic.

Even lower than the £19 Black Friday pricing, this is the lowest price we have yet seen from the company, BrandSpur digital news platform reports.

According to the Express, people who are prepared to switch to a new Sky Stream box—Sky’s latest gadget that streams entertainment to your TV via the internet instead of a satellite dish—can take advantage of this offer. Personalized suggestions, simple access to streaming apps, and an intelligent playlist feature for content storage are further advantages that Sky Stream provides.

The Essential TV bundle does not, however, include all of the channels, such as Sky Max, Sky Documentaries, Sky Crime, Sky Showcase, and Sky Witness. Users can join up for Sky’s Ultimate TV bundle, which used to cost £26 a month but is now £22, to have full access to these extra channels. Channels like U&alibi, Comedy Central, U&GOLD, and National Geographic are also available with this more expensive subscription.

Sky TV’s Managing Director, Ben Case, was excited about the new product, saying: “We’re excited to share our world-class TV experience with even more people, at an everyday low price with Sky Essential TV. Our new TV pack makes it easier than ever to get the biggest and best shows from Sky, Netflix, and Discovery+ all in one place, just in time for the Christmas TV season.”
