
On December 24, Truecaller, the top global platform for contact verification and banning unsolicited communications, achieved yet another significant milestone: 400 million monthly active users (MAU) on the Android operating system.
In numerous regional markets, Truecaller’s user base has continued to expand quickly, reaching over 57 million users in 2024 and currently surpassing 433 million users overall.
According to Truecaller’s Chief Product Officer and soon-to-be CEO, Rishit Jhunjuhnwala: “Truecaller’s strong commitment to help businesses and individuals communicate better through both calls and messages, continues to grow. Our geographical footprint is growing each day, and the development in our targeted growth markets is strong. We’re thrilled at achieving this milestone and we look forward to serving the next 400 million Android users.”
With an estimated 37 million new users, India’s growth is still robust, while other regions of the world are seeing faster relative growth, with 20 million new users expected in 2024.
