
Marketsquare, a grocery store chain, opened its 35th and 36th locations in Lagos, increasing its presence in the city and bringing the business closer to customers.
According to a statement from Marketsquare available to BrandSpur business and economy news desk, the new stores at Purple Lekki in Lekki and Eterna Filling Station, Gbagada Junction, Apapa Oshodi Motorway, are intended to make premium and reasonably priced goods more accessible to Lagos residents.
Speaking on the recent expansion, the Head of Marketing at Marketsquare, Emmanuel Isangediok, said the move matches the company’s aim to promote consumer convenience and affordability. He said: “We are thrilled to bring the Marketsquare shopping experience to the residents of Lekki and Gbagada. Our goal is to continuously expand and ensure that more Nigerians have access to quality products at the best prices, all within a serene and customer-focused environment.”
The opening of the two new locations, according to the corporation, was another significant turning point in its expansion throughout Nigeria. The Purple Lekki and Gbagada stores, according to Marketsquare, provide a large assortment of groceries, fresh produce, household necessities, and other items to meet the various demands of patrons in both areas.
According to the company, to commemorate the inauguration of the new stores and give customers a more enjoyable shopping experience, it launched special promos and exclusive discounts.
However, the store has underlined its dedication to reaching a wider audience and providing services that are value-driven. With 36 locations throughout 12 states, including Lagos, Abuja, Kaduna, Enugu, Aba, and Port Harcourt, Marketsquare is a division of Sundry Markets Limited.
