For its more than 3,000 employees, Sterling Bank, ‘Your One Customer Bank’ has raised salaries to fetch prices.

Entry-level employees now make N528,000 net monthly, up from about N320,000 previously. Top fintech businesses are aggressively stealing senior banking employees, according to three banking executives who asked not to be named by BrandSpur banking and finance news desk.

They cited wage offers that were essentially twice their bank salaries. With the current economic standard in Nigeria, Sterling Bank, with this move, seeks to retain its staff and attract more qualified hands to assist in championing the company’s goal and vision.

The salary of Banking Officers (BO) will increase from #700,000 to 1,030,000, while Assistant Banking Officers (ABO) will earn approximately N850,000. Assistant Managers (AM) will now receive N1.3 million per month, while Senior Banking Officers (SBO) will now receive N1.1 million.

However, this has shown that the company is out with the interest of its staff and to drive innovation that renders the best banking experience to its clients.
