
Compared to the N51.1 billion profit declared in 2023, Lafarge Africa Plc, a member of the Holcim Group and a leading Sub-Saharan Africa building materials company’s post-tax profit of N100.1 billion naira represents a 95.8% rise. Its 2024 financial statement, which was made public to BrandSpur Nigeria news on the Nigerian Exchange, disclosed this.
For the fiscal year 2024, Lafarge Africa Plc recorded sales of ₦696.7 billion, up from N405.5 billion the year before. With operational profit increasing by 89% to N193 billion from N102 billion and gross profit increasing by 67.7% to N346.7 billion from N206.7 billion in 2023, the company demonstrated notable progress in all important performance metrics.
Furthering, the company’s total assets increased by 45% year over year to N990.5 billion. Liabilities increased from N246.3 billion in 2023 to N485.8 billion.

Subject to shareholder approval and the proper withholding tax deduction, the Board of Directors suggested a final dividend of 120 kobo for each unit of 50 kobo ordinary shares. After business on Friday, March 28, 2025, stockholders whose names are listed in the Register of Members will receive the proposed dividend.
Additionally, shareholders who have not yet finished registering for e-dividends are urged to do so by the corporation.
