Doris Ogah, the 45th Miss Nigeria model and lawyer, has officially received a brand-new Changan Eado Plus from Mikano Motors.

Mikano Motors and the renowned Miss Nigeria contest, which represents the beauty, power, and tenacity of Nigerian women, formally began their cooperation with the handover of the luxury vehicle. The Eado Plus, which is well-known for its elegant appearance and cutting-edge features, is a perfect fit for the current Miss Nigeria since it embodies the Changan brand’s principles of innovation and quality.
Group Executive Director, Omar Karameh of Mikano International Limited said he was thrilled to give Ogah the Eado Plus because she epitomises Miss Nigeria. He went on to say: “This initiative is not just about the car; it is about recognizing the iconic symbolism of the Miss Nigeria pageant, from its beginnings in 1957, as a photo contest to what we have now, a pageant that has produced ladies who have made impacts in various professional fields and with credible accomplishments.”
Mikano has always been a proud supporter of the country’s entertainment, arts, and culture, he said, adding that they are dedicated to nurturing Nigerian talent and innovation.
He went on to say: “We continuously support various sectors, an example being Afriff- the largest film festival in Africa – and this event, here, is no exception.
“The legacy of Ms. Nigeria is not just about beauty; it’s about strength, intelligence, and leadership. We believe that this platform can mould the future female leaders of our country. By celebrating these remarkable women, we pave the way for a brighter and more empowered Nigeria,” Karameh added.
The next generation of female leaders would be inspired by the principles of Ms. Nigeria, he promised, and they will keep encouraging and supporting brilliance.
According to Mikano International Group Executive Director Joelle Haykal, during the official handover ceremony and a press briefing accessed by BrandSpur Nigeria news: “This partnership represents our commitment to empowering women and supporting local talent within our communities, in line with Miss Nigeria’s theme for this year, “Cultural Heritage and Community Engagement.” This has always been a mainstay for the Mikano Group and is evident in much of our efforts to give back to the society.”
According to Changan MEA’s Deputy General Manager, Tom Yin, the beauty contest highlights the outstanding accomplishments of Nigerian women, including their leadership, cultural activism, and wisdom. Yin stated this is a wonderful fit with Changan Automobile’s worldwide “Her Power” campaign. He promised that Changan Automobile hopes to encourage a new generation of women to follow their passions, excel in their careers, and create a better future through this partnership.
Doris Ogah, the recently crowned 45th Miss Nigeria, expressed her joy at winning the pageant and getting the Eado Plus, saying: “Winning the Miss Nigeria title has been a life-changing experience, and I am deeply grateful to Mikano Motors for this incredible gift.
“This car is not just a means of transportation; it represents the journey ahead—one filled with purpose, advocacy, and impact. I am excited for all that is to come and look forward to using my reign to inspire and empower young girls across Nigeria,” she added.
Legendary Nollywood queen, Rita Dominic Anosike, who is also the chairman of the Miss Nigeria board, offered her thoughts on bringing the Miss Nigeria franchise back to life, saying: “Reviving the Miss Nigeria franchise has never just been about a pageant—it’s about building a platform that celebrates the brilliance, ambition, and cultural pride of the Nigerian woman.
“With partners like Mikano, we are not just crowning queens—we are empowering a generation and ensuring that Miss Nigeria is a title and a platform for real impact. We are excited about this new chapter and the journey ahead,” the actress added.
However, the chairman of Mikano International Limited, Mofid Karameh, stated that the company would continue to differentiate itself from other companies by offering customers a six-year warranty on its products, something that Changan is the only company to do.
