The black market dealers reported a slight premium in major cities like Lagos and Abuja, even though the official and mid-market rates seem fairly stable.
According to information from financial aggregators and the CBN available to BrandSpur banking and finance news desk, as of this morning, the interbank exchange rate, the naira is still priced marginally below official rates on the black market.
On Monday: The rate of purchase stands at ₦1,525 per US dollar, while the rate of sale stands at ₦1,535 per US dollar on this day.
