At the 2025 Brand Handlers Awards, which honoured the top performers in Nigeria’s marketing sector, Maureen Ifada, the Marketing Director at FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria, was named Marketing Director of the Year.

 

Senior marketing experts, company executives, and industry participants gathered at the event, which was recently held in Lagos, to honour excellence in strategy and brand development. The Brand Handlers Awards, which are presented yearly by MarketingSpace, recognise people and businesses that exhibit originality, inventiveness, and quantifiable marketing impact. Ifada was recognised for her leadership in creating campaigns that improved FrieslandCampina WAMCO’s brand recognition and consumer relationships in Nigeria’s cutthroat FMCG industry.
