Samsung Halts Software Support For Its Galaxy A03s, 3 Other Phone Models

In the Android market, Samsung provides security updates for Galaxy smartphones for the longest duration. However, software support eventually ends, regardless of how long the brand provides it. That is the case for four of the South Korean tech giant’s phones.

Software support for the Galaxy A03s, Galaxy A52s, Galaxy F42 5G, and Galaxy M32 5G has been discontinued by Samsung. Long ago, the tech giant stopped upgrading the operating system on these phones, but it continued to provide security updates up until this point. But it will no longer do so.

During the August–September 2021 launch period, Samsung promised to provide security updates for these phones for four years. The company provided security updates as promised for that time frame (until September 2025), and it is now discontinuing software support, BrandSpur news brand reports.

As a result, these phones may be susceptible to future security breaches. Therefore, now is the ideal time to upgrade to a new phone if you currently own a Galaxy A03s, Galaxy A52s, Galaxy F42 5G, or Galaxy M32 5G. The most recent successors to the A03s, F42 5G, and M32 5G are the Galaxy A07, Galaxy F56, and Galaxy M36; owners of Galaxy A52s will find the Galaxy A56 to be a great upgrade.
